African Drumming

Drumming workshops for all ages, really great fun with freestyle and rhythm lessons.


Field Archery

Open to all, from beginners to expert. Taster sessions through the day hosted by the Leicester Archery Club. Bows and arrows provided!


Jazz Dancing

Solo jazz dancing! Jazz Dance is the ideal way to develop well-rounded dance skills. Lively, energetic, and creatively diverse, Jazz combines styles and techniques from a variety of popular dance forms.


Tropical reptile, amphibian and insect handling
View and handle these rare and amazing tropical creatures. Chameleons from Madagascar, frogs from the Amazon Forests, butterflies, moths and a host of other beautiful and interesting animals from across the world. 
Don't forget to bring your cameras!
Stop Motion Animation
Using your smartphone you can create your own stop motion animations. Here are a few short ones from last year.

Watercolour Paintings
Painting class for kids and teens.
Ceramics Workshop
Create your own cool designs with clay. Make your own miniature models, keychain and necklaces and take them home with you. 
Pony Grooming
Give our pony Gracie a full brush, stroke and grooming session. From head to hoof she loves the attention! 
The art of Japanese paper folding, learn to fold cool models, animals and beautiful present wrapping styles.
Gokart/Soapbox Building & Racing!
Choose your team, build your own gokart, paint it... and then race downhill!

Wool Spinning
Learn about the full process of wool from sheep to scarf. We'll start with the freshly shorn wool and work through the processes until the final knitting stage.
Viking Chess (Kubb)
This is a traditional Swedish outdoor lawn game, similar to bowling and horseshoe.
Alpaca Leading
We have three friendly alpacas and you can take them for a walk.
They love to pose for photos too so don't forget your cameras!
Bouncy Castle

Open Mic - Willowbrook's Got Talent!
Evening informal performances around a campfire, extending into the night this will be a chance to show off your talents, relax and make friends. Especially fun if you're camping!

Making a Clay Pizza Oven
We'll be making an authentic wood fired cob pizza oven. Learn to make your own at home made easily and simply from the earth beneath your feet. Affordable, authentic, beautiful and sustainable.

Kids Activities

Animal cake making, bouncy castle and an extra special kids play area in the woodland with tree houses, bridges, swings, climbing fun and exploration trail!


Tajweed - Quran Recitation

To recite the Quran beautifully takes effort and sincere commitment, however the rewards are immense.
Under the supervision of Hassen Rasool, learn how to improve your recitation in a simple, fun, and enjoyable way.
The workshop will cover pronunciation of Arabic letters and the basic rules of Tajweed
Yoga session for all levels, bring your own yoga mat if possible. 
For Children and teens, atmospheric stories in the woodland.
Introduction to Bookbinding
Hosted by local independent bookbinder and conservator Arthur Green. 
A fun and informative session which will introduce the craft of bookbinding; including the tools, materials and the terminology, and a bit of the history too. You will get to make a simple single-section binding with marbled paper covers, and print your own label on an Adana printing-press.
