We rear our lambs naturally on the farm without the use of any unnatural chemicals or antibiotics. Their distinctive taste comes from grazing freely on a natural chemical free grass and wild flower meadow in the Environmentally Sensitive Cherwell Valley. 
 
We source additional lambs from nearby Grange Farm at Little Chesterton. With three generations of farmers and all the experience that bestows, their award winning livestock are reared to the same high standards we demand on our own farm.  
 
All the lambs are grass feed and finshed with a little extra hay and oats with access to pasture at all times.

Suet is the fat taken from around the kidneys and loin area and is great for making traditional pastries, puddings and dumpling.
 
Please bear in mind that as there is only a limited supply of kidney fat per animal, there may be a delay in getting this product out to you if demand is high.

We also have organically tanned lamb fleeces available. Whilst they are not from the same lamb prepared for you, they are still one of our own lambs from last year. These are tanned by the only organic tanner in the UK and can be used for newborn babies or people with allergies, they usually retail at £125 but we can offer them at £105 to you with your order!

 

If you are ordering a half lamb then be aware that below weights and amounts are all halved. For any half lambs with the shoulder diced on the bone or as joints, trimmings would be minimal so no mince is included.
